No Quarter DVD: Oct26

The last paragraph of this entry has been crossed out. Since there was so much misinformation about this release until this week, I'm just rewriting the entry! Note the news about Plant and Beck with a new track on the *Roll the Dice* compilation. LZ bonus material is becoming virtually endless: (1) *No Quarter: Unledded* will be released on Oct26. (2) It will be in select Regal E.G. theaters the day before. (3) The *Unledded* CD will be rereleased with extra tracks on the 26th, as well.

See this Reuters article for more details. Seems Amazon was the first one to have the correct date and record label. I don't see any listings for the *Unledded* CD release yet, though (extra tracks "The Rain Song" and "Wah Wah").

I should probably create another entry for this news, but it's small time. THE BIG TOWN PLAYBOYS CD, *Roll the Dice* is due on October 11 via Townsend Records. Plant and guitar legend Jeff Beck can be heard in the album cut "Look Out Mabel". Win a pass to the CD launch party in London on Blabbermouth.

By Oct20 (Billboard reports the 27th, Amazon lists the 26th; Caveman and LZ mark SEPT28 - my birthday; and is it on Warner, Atlantic, and/or Rhino? Someone needs to get their act together with press reports), Page and Plant's 1994 Unledded performance is supposed to be coming out on DVD with "extra footage". Kevin Shirley, who's done a bunch of mix engineering for recent LZ releases, has hinted on his blog, Caveman's Diary (see Aug6) about this, as well as leaked some info to the press.
