Hotmail Rolling out 250MB NOW!
I logged into my "junk mail" account that I have on Hotmail (I only check it about once a week) and noticed that it's showing 250 MB. Looks like MSN started rolling out the long-awaited promise today, but I've noticed that some people don't have it yet. Word is getting out on the message boards... Just thought I'd share the good news!
Update: I don't check my email very often, but I noticed in my Hotmail inbox a 10/6 message from MSN Member News: "Congratulations on your storage upgrade from 2MB to 250MB! As a valued MSN Hotmail Member, you have been specially selected to receive a special storage upgrade - at no cost to you." Thanks for telling me almost a month after it happened. I wonder what makes me special, too. I've heard that it's being rolled out FCFS (computer science term) i.e. the people who have had an account the longest get upgraded first. This is just speculation, though. I believe I've had mine since '97.
