I had already mentioned that Marcos Curiel had formed a new band, but they now have all (8) of their EP tunes out for free download. From reading their site's message board (frequented by the band members and manager, which is rare), AeX has been around for over a year now. I'm so disappointed that I hadn't heard about them sooner. Full album due out in "early 2005".
Anyway, the MP3s were posted on TheAccidentExperiment.net (now "phase II design") early this morning. Definitely a lot of good music if you like the vocalist's and guitarist's previous bands; I can heartily recommend "Sky's Your Home" & "Song For You". The emailing list I thought I had originally signed up for doesn't seem to have worked. I tried again (required to get to the download page), so hopefully I'll be in the loop this time.
I have to mention that Pete Stewart looks pretty funny with a shaved head. The one video that's posted on the site is very low budget, but an interesting cartoon. There's a few live videos of the band as well. Start spreading the news (a couple images and buddy icons are also available for download). Hopefully I can contribute to getting them in Nashville - I know Pete lived here only a couple of years ago (don't know if he still calls this home), but there's no show schedule posted on the site yet.
Dec18 update: Visited the AeX forum again and noticed a bunch of replies to my post!

Wow. I've got a music friend staying the night and guess what CD he's got? de-loused in the comatorium Reminds me of the band from the end of fight club; I had downloaded a bunch of stuff from them a while back, but haven't heard from them since.
