If you see the text of this paragraph, then you are viewing my site without any (or with limited) stylesheets. I suggest using the site search or going directly to the page content using the Skip Navigation link at the top of the page; Skip to Full Menu has similar results. Use the About link to learn more about Zepfanman.com in general.

There isn't much that I've mastered on my blog and website, especially compared to the greats. I was, however, able to find a good tip on Elise.com for improving the feeds on MT sites. Another goal is to get a handle on trackbacks, which I currently have disabled (I don't get enough traffic anyway). The two other things worth mentioning are the use of a Creative Commons license, and recommendations for AWStats. Help me out here...
Most of these technologies are not particularly complicated, but like everything else on Zepfanman.com, I'd like to use them properly before I waste eons implementing them incorrectly. Practice does make perfect, though - I guess it just takes time, especially on a website developed mainly as a hobby.
I've linked to a few other RSS leads in my FAQ and Bloglines (which I use as an online "scratch sheet"), but I haven't found any good discussions comparing the different kinds of feeds you can develop (Atom, RSS1, RSS2, RSD, and FOAF are all I know of). For example, why is my MT's default RSD so minimal?
Even the RSS Weblog doesn't list many resources. While no one is really using my feeds yet, I am interested in getting a good grasp on what I can do with this nifty technology; the official documentation, as usual, is not very user friendly unless you're already familiar with it. That reminds me - as another side note - I'm hoping this tutorial on AWStats with 1and1 will help me to monitor what kind of people, if any, are using my feeds. Whitespace has a good discussion on the issue, as well.
I've read through the MT manual and a few support posts about Trackbacks, but that and the Creative Commons I'll just have to wait on. I could care less if people copy my content right now.
Any input or comments on these topics would be greatly appreciated!
