Political Comedy

Nov18 edit: fling93 mentions the ifilms version of Stewart's Crossfire interview. Also updated onegoodmove link since he's moved website hosts.

If you're tired of serious politics, check these two videos out. Jon Stewart challenged the Crossfire hosts a couple of weeks ago; he's got gumption! I don't know if he or Triumph the Insult Comic Dog did a better job in questioning Spin City regulars (last week).

First of all, while Triumph (from Late Night with Conan O'Brian) has always been hilarious, as a warning he's quite the crude character - definitely late night material. He begins the video clip with, "America again determines which toilet to drink out of...." Onegoodmove posts a follow-up video where Triumph interviews undecided voters.

There's all sorts of good stuff about Stewart going on these days. He's actually received serious critiques, even from CNN (whom he bashed): use BugMeNot for the WP article about Stewart that Vertical Hold mentions. So far, I've only read of his gutsy appearances on Crossfire and 60 Minutes.

Apparently, EdgeCurve agrees with me about all this stuff. He wants to hang out with O'Brian and Stewart!
