Is it normal to be mowing the yard on November 21st? The weather and season has made for beautiful travel, incidentally.
As you can see from the photo, even the leaves in our yard have all fallen - yet I mowed today. I'm really hoping this is the last time. I'm keeping note to see how things go next year. The weather has been very warm this November, even for Nashville. Other than the mowing, I'm not complaining. The photos from my latest Ridgecrest trip are on my laptop now, but I took a few shots to show more of the beautiful fall colors; I'll post them ASAP. You can see some better quality ones from last month when Megan and I went to Glorieta.
More on travel, I rented my first Buick this past week. The Century is their economy class, but driving on the road, I saw a bunch of LeSabres. To my untrained Buick eye, though, I really couldn't tell a difference between the four different models of sedan, a total of six if you count the discontinued Regal and Riviera (the later Rivieras were the only unique-looking model IMO). One nifty thing that I've never seen before is the cell phone holders on the middle armrest. Fun times.
I can sense a summons to dinner any minute. Megan's family started to arrive last night. They'll be there for the week as we begin to celebrate Thanksgiving. It's great to have a house where guests can fit be comfortable!
