Anniversary Gallery

I pretty much took a photo journal of our trip. The weather was great and I can't remember any major bummers.

Since I didn't take photos of several places that we ate, Famous Famiglia on 8th, Native (by our place in Harlem), and the simple American Wing Café are a few other places worth mentioning. Don't be in a rush if you go to Native, though. Now that I think about it, we didn't have any bad food while we were there; we actually ate most of our meals in our room since we stopped by the grocery store the first day.

Also noteworthy is the NYC subway and bus system. We used our 7 day unlimited Metrocard to get all over town. We only had to call a cab once and that's because we (I) got lost. The M60 bus goes to LaGuardia Airport, so that was covered by the card, too. I'm not sure about JFK.

In other news, I took our Christmas tree to one of the parks for disposal today. Taking down the ornaments with Megan was a reminder that the holidays are basically over. So sad, but at least we can celebrate a Happy New Year!
