Syndication

  1. RSS 1 are summarized entries with HTML.
  2. Atom 0.3 contain full entries.

Keith's explanation of syndication and website feeds is pretty helpful. I offer two versions of of my blog entries by RSS. For browsers that support automatic feed detection, you should also see these feeds as options on any Zepfanman.com page.

More about accessibility

If you're familiar with accessibility

For those familiar with accessibly designed websites, turn off styling to take a look at the Skip to: links at the top of (almost) every page; this should give you a good idea of how site navigation works on Zepfanman.com. Once you get a feel for one page, (almost) all the others follow suit. As I mention in my main About page, this site is constantly changing. I apologize ahead of time for the moments when you run across one of the older, poorly designed pages. Feel free to let me know that I need to fix it!

If you're curious about accessibility

For those less familiar with web accessibility, read on… The flexibility of the web compared to printed medium is both a blessing and a curse. Most people design websites that are visually based and useful only for the common reader; this ends up confusing anyone who views things differently, be they dislexic, blind, or even just a person who prefers to experience the page in a different way. On the other hand, the blessing of web flexibility is that more and more people are putting thought into making websites accessible to everyone. I've designed Zepfanman.com to be usable to as many people as possible, especially those with vision impairment or people using mobile devices to view the site. WAI Web Content Accessibility Guidelines are followed for the most part. Many of the techniques I've employed are explained better by Brothercake's Accessibility information page.
