BAND SPECIFIC
Note: UBL.com has links to thousands of
bands. I think they've got it set up real well, although you don't get the quality links
there like you do here! See also my Favorite Bands list for more
band-specific links.
2nd Chapter of Acts - Phil Keaggy-era Christian classic rock. Bet you never even knew that category existed! While I'm not a fan of Abba (maybe Sly & the Family... would be a preferable comparison), that's what 2nd Chapter reminds me of ;-)
AudioSlave Online - with the depth of this site, you'd have thought this band has been out for years. By far the best AudioSlave site so far. More links on this band available on my main music page with a special section on this Rage Against the Machine follow-up band. The Beatles were #1 on
VH1's six hour special, the 100 Greatest Artists of Rock & Roll (April '98). Come to
think of it, I don't own any Beatles CDs, but 95% of their songs are not just good, but
great.
(These links are okay, but PLEASE let me know of other good ones if you have favorites!)

- top Crowes mp3 site as well as their happenings
The Doors
"aimed to unite performer and audience by plugging directly into the Universal Mind.
They would settle for nothing less. For them that meant risk, no gimmicks, nothing
up their sleeves, no elablorate staging or special effects - only naked, dangerous
reality, piercing the veil of maya with the music's ability to awaken man's own dormant
and eternal powers." - Danny Sugarman, No One Here Gets Out AliveElektra holds the rights to ALL of The Doors' albums...
