In a few hours, America’s favorite gawking event will begin, first with the red carpet at 7pm EST on ABC followed by the awards from 8:30-11:30. Here are my predictions. I’ll probably be Tweeting and on Facebook during the event.

I’ve listened to a lot of good episodes from various podcasts since October (when I listed my favorite subscriptions). Here are a few that I rated the highest. Most of them should still be available to download, or at least to stream.

A coworker of mine has never heard of B.B. King. This must be remedied. In response, I’ve created “An Evolution of Blues” compilation. It’s not a definitive list and I had to question if certain songs could truly be considered blues tracks (when they’d likely first be catalogued as jazz, rock ballad, folk, country or downtempo, to name a few).

The Tuesday Zep was a good 43 week experiment. I will continue to blog, but not likely on a weekly basis. As I mentioned in November, I’m going to use the “winter blues” excuse to take a break for a little while and return reinvigorated for the spring! It’s been a while since I’ve listened to an album that everyone I know instantly loves. Robyn’s Body Talk trilogy is easily one of the best dance albums of the year. One could compare it to Hot Chip, Madonna, Sean Paul and a host of other high-energy artists, but Body Talk stands on its own two feet. A friend of mine calls it “hot, sexy fun” and one of my coworkers wanted to set up a disco light in her cubicle when she was listening to it on her headphones.
