Italy & Greece vacation

I’ll be boarding an airplane in just over 24 hours! Will keep this short as I’m testing the WordPress iPhone app – still haven’t gotten comfortable typing more than a few sentences on my phone.

I will not be using cellular service there – will mainly stay in touch via e-mail or possibly Skype when I’m in Wi-Fi zones.

One sentence itinerary: 3/24 flight to Chicago (lunch with Grady), then to Rome via London, train to Venice 3/28, flight to Athens 3/31, return to Nashville 4/4 and stay until that Saturday.

This is one of the longest trips I’ve ever been on, and my first time to either country. I’m very excited to be going with my good friend Kurt. He’s been planning the trip for years, so I owe him a debt of gratitude for forcing me to come along with him! I’ll miss everyone while I’m gone and will try to post pictures on Flickr, Twitter, and Facebook via Instagram. I may create short WordPress entries on this blog, as well. It will mostly be one-way communication, so I apologize in advance for not replying to much of anything while I’m gone.

Love,
J. J.

Bye JJ! Not sure what we’re going to do at work without you. Maybe I will step up and try to fix everyone’s cat viruses. But that means I will probably create a bunny virus on top of it that you will have to face when you get back. Have fun!! : )

I think you’re fully qualified to take care of XanEdu’s computer problems. I’ll expect to return to the building burned to the ground. Then we’ll all join the circus – oh, wait…
