In January of 2009, I was informally surveying different blogging platforms (Virb, Tumblr, Posterous, etc.) and noticed a few friends on Vox. For someone who didn’t want to go through the trouble of hosting their own blog (for example, using WordPress.org as this site now is), Vox seemed like a better community than Blogger or WordPress.com.
To make a long story short, anything older than this post has been imported from Vox. They’re closing the service on September 30th, 2010, so I figured I’d keep a record of what I was up to in January 2009 (I’m actually composing this on Sept. 22, 2010 but posting it as Jan. 21, 2009). Most of the posts are password-protected as they were mainly test posts and unpolished pieces.
